Natalia Retzloff began her early theatrical training through Swartz Creek Center Stage under the Thompson Family from 2007-2016. She had numerous opportunities to perform lead roles in many productions including: Honk Jr., Seussical The Musical (Jojo), Alice in Wonderland (Small Alice), Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy). She was able to experience being rigged and flown by professional stage managers for her role as Tinker Bell in their production of Peter Pan in 2014. Her teaching and choreography skills were used in 2016 to assist with the audition and choreographic process of Disney's Camp Rock the Musical.

She furthered her theatrical training at Wright State University through classes such as: Tap Lessons, Theatre Culture and History, Musical Theatre Jazz, Jazz Technique, Acting, and Private Voice Lessons . She also assisted in stage managing Emerging Choreographer's Concert and their annual Fall Concert. During her time there, she also had the opportunity to assist with the Musical Theatre auditions at Wright State along with the Dance Major auditions. Natalia worked along side of the Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance, Photography, and Film Majors on many projects including main stage productions.

Her theatre background was then used to choreograph many theatrical scenes of Fenton Ballet Theatre's full length ballets Cinderella and Hansel & Gretel along with Fenton High School's production of She Kills Monster's. She serves as resident choreographer and faculty for CARE Conservatory of Ballet and their pre-professional ballet company The Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble. Natalia also teaches and choreographs for their annual CARE Camp where she brings her theatre background to teach classes like Musical Theatre Choreography and Jazz Technique with heavy Bob Fosse and Gus Giordano influences. Her love, experience, creativity, and passion in both the theatre and dance world has made her a sought after choreographer and teacher for many institutions in the Michigan area.

Natalia recently accepted a position at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and School Of The Arts as one of their Teaching Artist Apprentice's for the 2022-2023 season! While there, she will be assisting with many of their dance classes along with choreographing for their school. She has choreographed sections of Disney's "Marry Poppins" for The School Of Theatre Arts. Most recently, Ms. Retzloff just closed her run as choreographer with Rogers and Hammerstein's full-length Cinderella the musical performed by Muskegon Civic Theatre. She is very excited to see what opportunities continue to follow her because of this wonderful experience!
